I know its been a while... please don't harass me as I hang my head in shame... WHATEVER. I've been in a funk, what can I say? It happens. But enough of that.
Today I headed out to downtown Boise for the Saturday Market!!
I got a little later start than I planned, and by the time I hit the street, it was pretty packed.
Some areas were less dense than others. Whatev. This market has grown significantly in the five years that I lived on the eastern seaboard. There is a decent variety now though.... You can buy flowers...
Local fruits and veggies... (Earlier this year I even found fava beans! What, in Boise?!?)
Wine tastings from local wineries and artsy crafty things....
There is even live music now.
One of my favorite things at the market that I used to have my mother send to me when I lived out east are the most incredible dried apple rings from a local orchard. Seriously, you can't them like this anywhere else, not that I have found anyway! LOVE LOVE LOVE these!!
The City Market in Boise is definitely a PAB.
