Today I attended Nampa Festival of the Arts with my parents and my nephew Daniel. It was your typical art festival for these parts. Individuals showing their "art."
Right from the get go we came across the bagpipe performers (at least its a bit of culture, which I so thoroughly embrace).
I always bitch about the lack of international exposure and culture in this town, and I unknowingly missed Jaialda (how the hell did that happen?!?!) so when I see displays of other culture, it behooves me to pay attention.
Most of the booths were typical, beaded jewelery, hand made soaps, pottery, etc. But there were two booths that struck me and stood out. The first one, was Trailer Park Glam.

Say what you will, but the ladies behind this brand are creative! They have some real moxie. They used old fashioned pin-up type pictures, which I LOVE!! (Why didn't I get my own pictures? BAD BLOGGER)
The second thing that stood out was this incredible guy who used spray paint to make incredible images.
It was phenomenal. I can only assume (which we all know is bad to do) that he had a vision. The layers of paint and things he did, it leaves no other conclusion. I really wanted to buy a print that was a city skyline... but I couldn't think of where to put it at the moment. So I grabbed contact info to buy one in the future. I am still floored by how amazing the guy is. Check him out.
That was all for the day, except for the incredible stuffed peppers I made for dinner. YUM.
